Business hours

Are you open during typhoons and heavy snow?
We will be open but may delay the opening time or close if operating could be risky to visitors, and in certain situations.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept DC, VISA, Master Card, JCB, Diners, Discover, UFJ Card, Nicos, American Express and MUFG.
Are free passes available?
Yes, free passes can be purchased for a limited time. Please ask at the ticket counter.
Do you have a special admission fee for senior citizens?
No, it’s the same admission fee as adults.
Do you have a special admission fee for people with disabilities?
If you present your Physical Disability Certificate your admission, fee and the admission fee for up to one companion will be 1,400 yen for adults and 700 yen for children.
Do you have restrooms for people with disabilities?
Yes, there are three restrooms for people with disabilities close to each of the restaurants.
How long will it take to see the entire park?
It takes about 1.5 hours to stroll around the zoo and three hours to see the whole park.
Do you have a shuttle bus?
We do not have a shuttle bus. You can use a public bus or take a taxi from Izu Inatori Station.
Can I bring my pet?
If it is a dog, it must weigh under 25 kilograms and less than 55 centimetres tall and must be on a leash. Bring any other pets in a cage.
*Extendable leashes are prohibited.
Are there any restaurants where I can dine with my pet?
Yes at the restaurant with a view of the park and at snack corners (note that the restaurant with a view of the park may not be open on weekdays.)
Do you have strollers (baby carriages)?
We have a limited number of rental strollers. The rental fee is 500 yen a day.
Do you have wheelchairs?
Yes though in limited numbers and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no usage fees.
Do I have to pay for parking?
Yes.
Is there anywhere I can enjoy the lunch I bring with me?
The lawn square is recommended.
Are there any restrictions on activity due to the effects of infectious diseases?
If you are showing symptoms such as coughing and a fever, please refrain from visiting the park.
Sanitize your hands frequently.
Wearing a mask is left to your discretion.

Animals

Will I be able to see animals on rainy days?
Carnivore House is indoors, so you can visit even on rainy days. You can also view large herbivores, although you will need an umbrella.
Can I touch the animals?
Yes, you can touch small animals such as capybaras, guinea pigs, hedgehogs and armadillos.
Can I feed any of the animals?
For the large animals you can feed giraffes. You can also feed deer and mouflons during business hours. However, please do not bring your own food to feed the animals.
What kind of animals are there?
Predators (white tigers, lions, cheetahs), large herbivores (giraffes, elephants, rhinoceros, zebras), and small animals (capybaras, armadillos and miniature rabbits.)
Why don’t the birds in the zoo fly away?
The birds in the zoo can fly but they can’t fly very far because we cut off some of the feathers they need to fly high.

About the amusement park and driving (golfing) range

Can I bring my pet to the amusement park?
Pets are not allowed on the rides. However, you can take a small dog with you on the Ferris Wheel. Please note that there is also a dog run (for small dogs) for you to enjoy.
Are there rides for young children?
The Merry-go-Round and Sandy Creek are recommended for young children.
How long does it take to play putting golf?
Approximately 1.5 hours for a group of four.
Can I play putting golf on rainy days?
We rent out raincoats, so yes, you can play. However, putting golf will be closed when it is considered risky, such as in heavy rain and strong wind.
What time does the driving range open?
It’s open from 9:00 a.m. until one hour before closing.

Protecting injured wild animals

I found a wild bird…
If it does not appear to be injured, release it in a safe place. In particular, do not take chicks home and contact the local government’s agriculture and forestry office or city hall. Likewise, contact the local government’s agriculture and forestry office or city hall if the bird is injured.
I have found a stray dog (cat)…
Contact the local government’s city hall, health center, or the police.
I rescued an injured animal…
Injured birds and animals cannot be diagnosed unless it is a request from a relevant organization. As with wild birds, contact the local government’s agriculture and forestry office or city hall.
I would like you to adopt my pet.
We do not adopt any pets.
I would like to have my pet diagnosed.
We do not diagnose pets. Visit your local animal hospital.
